Maps of Orefact

Orefact’s setting takes place on the world of Osala Ascendus. Osala Ascendus is a heavily forested, large planet with a very slow orbit. Cloud forests, jungles, and marshes dominate most of the planet and the oceans are scattered creating many inland seas connected to one-another by natural canals. The only “deserts” are the silicate sand tundras to the north and south that periodically freeze and melt. Due to the orbit of the planet being ~6x longer than Earth, periods of complete melting pass by leaving them to become more desert-like. The planet contains a great number of arachnid-analog and crustacean-analog wildlife and intelligent (albeit primitive) arachnid natives that were in the process of assimilating into society before the dissolution war struck the galactic republic.
